I've installed a few of them and even made my own for one vehicle while I was waiting on Novak to get finished up with theirs. Then I even cut one of theirs up and adapted it to the 231 because I didn't want to make another one. WebSep 6, 2016 · The shift levers on the t-case point opposite, one up, one down. The 241 lever can be re-used, the 231 has to be swapped to run a clevis. That means the trans bracket for the housing end has to point in two different spots to line up the cable. The floor shifter side is identical with both.

Get you mechanic to do this as it can roll away while your under it. The cables can seize up and will be intermittent.

I just got the one in the 99, it took about 4 hours with wrestling with rusty bolts and crap but all in all a fairly easy install. No more rattle and it shifts like butter and stays in gear !!
