And again, I know the FIT is better at distinguishing the type of blood, but I do think hemorrhoids can also lead to a positive result on that. Not sure about fissures but I think so. WebFeb 19, 2024 · He finally asked me to supply a stool sample for a FIT test. The result is a FIT rating of 8.5 and a recommendation for a colonoscopy.
